What's Happening

January 4, 2008 We are releasing a new model of the ASE Model 2200. It will be referred to as the ASE Model 2200L and will feature improved operation and configuration with a custom display that is considerably clearer and temperature resistant. We will have the information on the website for this improved device by the end of January. We will continue to support those customers who purchased the ASE Model 2200.

December 14, 2007 NIOSH now expects the results of the testing of the proximity warning devices to be released some time in April 2008

September 18, 2007 We have provided the U.S. Army with ASE Model 2200 High Voltage Proximity Warning Devices for all of the cranes in Iraq. We are proud to be supplying these devices to save American lives under these most difficult of times. We are hopeful that industry will follow the example of the Army and stop sacrificing the lives of personnel working with cranes.

May 28, 2007 The preliminary data of the Proximity Warning Device testing was released. NIOSH has requested that we not release the data until it has been thoroughly examined by all members of the NIOSH group. NIOSH expects to release the final report at a later date.

February 10, 2007 The report of the testing of Proximity Warning Devices by NIOSH in July of 2006 which was to be released in late 2006 has been delayed until sometime early in 2007. The patent office has published our patent on a Proximity Warning Device that uses radio linked antennas. The Publication Number is 20070018841 and can be viewed on the USPTO website. These are primarily used on heavy equipment that has articulated booms. We will not be offering this device until final testing has been completed. We have not yet decided if we will use the NIOSH facilities for this testing.

November 2006 We are in the lengthly process of building a website. We appologize for the brevity of information availabe; however, we have received numerous requests to put something up on the website. It is our intent to expand the website to include sections on actual installation and operation. For the eggheads, we will have a section on theory. Additionally, a comprehensive technical manual will be included for all products.
